McTeer Systems, Inc. is an Information Technology consulting business. Since 1992, we have provided services to clients
in two broad areas: IT/Management Coordination and Development of Quasi-Commercial Standalone Software.
IT/Management
Coordination: smoothing the process of software development by serving as a coordinator/translator between business managers
and software developers. McTeer Systems has experience with most aspects of business software development: initial goal setting,
requirements and specifications, internal and external design, coding, testing and customization, deployment, distribution,
subsequent modification cycles, and overall project management. Although we can perform parts of the work, our preference
is to work with the existing management and software teams to provide perspective, future problem avoidance, and clear inter-disciplinary
communication.
Development of Quasi-Commercial Standalone Software: Our clients provide software to business partners
to enhance the business relationship. This software is typically distributed free (thus quasi-commercial) but otherwise is
subject to the same rigorous quality, performance, testing, and platform support requirements as commercial software. Our
clients for these services are primarily in the Building Architecture and Insurance market sectors.
